ONTARIO CENTRE OF INNOVATION UNVEILS EXCITING PLANS TO BRING BACK MAJOR TRADESHOW AND MIND2MARKET WINNER AT 2022-2023 ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING

TORONTO, ON. October 24, 2023 — The Ontario Centre of Innovation (OCI) is thrilled to announce groundbreaking developments unveiled at its 2022-2023 Annual General Meeting, held in Toronto. This year’s AGM was a platform for major revelations and significant steps towards promoting innovation, knowledge sharing, and entrepreneurial excellence.
DiscoveryX Conference and Trade Show Returns in 2024, OCI Board Chair, Mark Henderson proudly announced the return of the much-anticipated DiscoveryX Conference and Trade Show. Scheduled for April 17-18, 2024, this remarkable event is set to reconvene Ontario’s brightest innovators, entrepreneurs, and industry leaders.
“The DiscoveryX Conference and Trade Show has been a cornerstone of innovation in Ontario, and we’re thrilled to bring it back. This event symbolizes our commitment to cultivating a culture of innovation and entrepreneurship within our province,” said Claudia Krywiak, President and CEO of the Ontario Centre of Innovation.
The DiscoveryX Conference and Trade Show is known for fostering networking, idea exchange, and the convergence of groundbreaking ideas. In this upcoming edition, attendees can expect an even more enriching experience, featuring prominent speakers, interactive workshops, and a showcase of the latest innovations and technologies.
Also announced at the annual general meeting was the 2023 Mind to Market Winner – TROES. Victor Fedeli, Minister of Economic Development, Job Creation and Trade, along with the 2023 award sponsor, uRide CEO Cody Ruberto, proudly announced the recipient of this year’s prestigious Mind to Market Award – TROES.
